The following photos come from a typical eve at the Sunset Grille, Annandale, VA, where I've held down bass duties most Thursday nights for 15 years, first with Bill Kirchen and Too Much Fun, and presently with the Thrillbillys. As you can see, a good time is had by all! Many thanks to my Official Photographer - John Garafolo - for the use of these pictures. Yooda Man, John!

Andy Rutherford and his li'l half acre. He plays 2 or 3 different guitars, plus one or two different lap steels. He has too much stuff to set up on stage so we gave him his li'l half acre. Behind him is David Kitchen, the Washington Area Music Associations "Songwriter of the Year" of '06. He's also a great singer and plays a mean Telecaster. He and Andy compliment each other 'cuz their styles are different yet totally compatible.

Andy Rutherford; Multi-tasker.

Robbie Magruder, longtime veteran of the D.C. music scene, has played with Roy Buchanon and spent 10 years with Mary Chapin Carpenter. Even if he doesn't know the tune, He locks right in on the right drum part to play. Between the two of us we have something like 90 years of rhythm section experience!

Robbie Magruder; Drummer Extraorinaire.

I actually started this whole experiment as a drummer back in 196## 'er 196@# uh...somethin' wrong with my number bar.? I can still keep a beat even if I don't hold the sticks right.

Didn't know JC was multi- talented?

Andy & the dough: Usually Dave counts the tip money. Andy's just eating some of it. The Grillebillies are extremely generous with the tip jar, and we appreciate it. One woman tipped us each $100 to play a song. She also offered us $100 to stop playing one we had already started! Request denied...

Good night for the tip jar!
